The Town of Tiburon ("Shark" in Spanish) has a population of 9,176 as of 2016. The median age of residents is 50 years and 80% of residents have a bachelor's degree or higher. Tiburon is just a short 30 minute drive or ferry ride from San Francisco. Things to do and see:

Belvedere

Belvedere, population 2,122 as of 2016, is a small island community The median age is 58 years and more than 75% of residents have a bachelor's degree or higher. Belvedere, or "beautiful view," looks at San Francisco and the Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, and Sausalito. Its three neighborhood areas are:
